I don’t care if it’s slop I’m never deleting these photos. We gave our grandmother an AI art app for Christmas two years ago—she still makes and sends pictures to her children and grandchildren all the time. She turned 100 a few days ago, too.

After over a year on a pretty HCLF diet, the transition to ex150 keto is killing me. I only have energy for about half the day before crashing hard. Doing my best to maximize CI, but this is rough.

Today I drank instant coffee with glucose powder and bought apples & bananas with food stamps. We are probably not the same.

This is what hiking with @SeizureSalad314 felt like. It was nice of her to keep doubling back to let me catch up.

Beef and bananas over oats for breakfast. @SeizureSalad314 should I add dark chocolate?

Whoops, I really buried the lede... My serum vitamin A has fallen 35% down to 38 μg/dL from a peak of 59.4 last October. Half that drop happened only within the last three months, too.

Idiopathic hyperferritinemia update: - The purple triangles mark blood donations (I gave blood 4 times in 4 months without anemia). - My ferritin has never been this low (140). - Checking ferritin many times per year was part of what clued me in on liver issues.

Current interventions: - low VA diet - RDA calcium - powdered ACV with meals - megadose Zn/Mo from the controversial HG7 stack The apple cider vinegar seems to be doing something. My appetite is down, but I'm not low energy and my waist *might* be shrinking. Too soon to say.

Clearly my ferritin and liver health are linked. The only reason my ferritin came down is because I yanked it down with phlebotomy, but my liver enzymes are still iffy, so there's likely something else going on, too.

About ready to submit my @joingauntletai application, but I'm so old school I haven't done a code challenge--despite having used matlab, fortran, c, c++, c#, and python professionally. Should I pick a language and spend a week shaking the rust off with practice problems?

Bread, butter, and beer—three of the German food groups. Plus some bonus Brie. As they say: “when in Germany to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the village your family traces its roots too, fuck diets.”

I'm going to stay on the low VA prison diet for now, stop megadosing Zn/Mo, check labs in a couple months, and maybe start giving blood again.

- Subjectively, not much changed during my HG7 trial, which suggests HG7 may be compatible with VA detox. (This also suggests our knowledge of Zn/Mo may be incomplete, because there's a case of Mo toxicity from 1999, and I blew past that guy's consumption with no obvious effect)
