I've been thinking about the creative opportunities Arirang opens for them since release day... They jumped off the return with a highly experimental and "controversial" album, but it has ended as their biggest project ever so any inhibition they may have before are all GONE
But the bigger question is how will BTS top Arirang & you know they will,how Armys manage? Because Arirang consumes my every minute & nobody's forcing me because I love it so much😭

It was quite obvious they wanted an "ethnic" performance... Their view of korean culture is limited to aesthetics and some traditional instruments, nothing to do with the reality of being koreans navigating the world that arirang is.
