AMAs nominations are based SOLELY on US metrics (sales, streaming, concert data...etc). The cut off is 3/21/25 to 3/26/26 so all US streaming & sale activities BTS' discography did + the first week of ARIRANG release was enough to earn them AOTY nom. No favoritism involved.
