Christopher Nolan made his first feature film for £6,000. Now look at him. The UK indie film scene needs more support, but at the same time filmmakers need to be realistic. Don't write your movie with a million pounds in mind. Work with people you know who are just as passionate.

Actors, if you audition for a role, get the part and get paid for it, please do us the common curtesy and include that film on your filmography, whether that be your website, Mandy or Spotlight. It's very hard to not see your film listed on there knowing how much work was put in.

Casting is the one of the best and worst things about independent production. You see so many talented people that you hate to disappoint but you know it has to done because your can't have hundreds of cast members in a little to no budget movie.

Shane Meadows told me my feature film idea was good. I told him how much of an inspiration he was in the writing of it. He asked me where he could find the original short to watch.

Christopher Nolan came to work last night to do an introduction to Tenet in IMAX 15/70mm. We stood shoulder to shoulder at the back of the screen as we watched the first ten minutes of the film. I tried my hardest to hold in my inner fanboy.
