I read one story about Megadeth on Facebook and now Facebook is totally convinced I absolutely love Megadeth. I can’t scroll anywhere without Dave Mustaine popping up.

I could not agree more.
Not enough people are aware of the genius of Scott Hutchison. One of the greatest songwriters of this generation. If you’ve never heard #FrightenedRabbit then just do yourself a favour. If you like songs that punch you in the gut & break your heart then it’s music for you.

I buy vinyl because it’s nice to own something, it’s fun to collect, it looks cool and it supports artists I like. I’m not kidding myself it sounds better. It’s a format riddled with compromises.

The only argument that can be made that vinyl sounds better is if the recording on it has stayed ENTIRELY in the analog domain (recorded to tape and directly mastered to vinyl). But even then, it’s still a much noisier format,

As much as I love vinyl records, if the music you are listening to was recorded digitally - there is absolutely no way a record will sound better on vinyl. To this day, the highest quality mass produced format is still the CD.

I could not agree more.
The term “industry plant” is so meaningless. You could basically say any artist signed to a label is a “plant”. But really they’re all part of the industry’s bizarre world where some, like it or not, get more opportunities than others. Ultimately tho, fans rule the industry.
