@tom_watson
Why do you, and so many others whom we vote for to represent OUR interests, insist on cuddling up to Zion, when so many Jewish worthies would rather you blew the whistle?
@tom_watson
Premature? How can you say that?
@lucianaberger
has been consistently threatened, bullied and intimated as have many of the other MP's. Why stay in an institutionally antisemitic party with a leader who is a threat to our country? They have moral integrity, where is yours?
@tom_watson
The trouble is there’s no superficial cure for Labour. From the surface to the undercurrents to the bedrock itself there are ideas & attitudes on the far left that are deeply antisemitic, deeply unpatriotic & deeply embittered. It is who they are. It’s what they believe...
@tom_watson
Very good speech Tom. Genuinely.
But Labour are going down a path I cannot follow. The seven were right to leave today. I implore you, don't let Corbyn take you down with him
@tom_watson
@vc61
‘Sad day’? Why’s that, Decent MP’s who don’t want to be bullied or subjected to a racist manifesto by a hard left organisation that are led by a front bench full of idiots. The sad part is that you’ve let this situation escalate to where it is.
@tom_watson
A superb address, Tom. Plain speaking is now called for. Jeremy Corbyn DOES NOT REPRESENT 90% OF LABOUR VOTERS ON BREXIT. Either he changes that now , or he goes. It really is a binary choice - he and his inner circle are now demonstrably wrecking the Party with their EU-phobia
@tom_watson
You say some fine words - but I’m not sure the MPs leaving Labour have drawn the wrong conclusion. Nationally Britain is in crisis and at a time of peril - we need politicians to act in the national interest. The 7 did
@tom_watson
As I said elsewhere, too little, too late, I left last year. How can the front bench justify the polling numbers against this government? Labour has failed.
@tom_watson
Sad but not unexpected. I was one of those people who was filled with hope and became a paying member of the party back when Jeremy was elected. Since then, I’ve felt so sad at the direction of the Labour Party and lack of real leadership on anything. I too, have left the party.
