Wage growth won't destroy the economy, as Richard explains. "Even though firms are making record profits, they're blaming workers and saying high wages are causing inflation. That's not economics, and it's certainly not good for the economy." said @RDNS_TAI #auspol

If you don't trust doctors who are telling you to get vaccinated, why are you going to the hospital to get help from the same doctors?

The Morrison government is the actual federal government of the day, meaning they have the majority of seats in the House of Reps. They can - and do - introduce legislation any time they like. They do not require a written note from any other party to do so. They're a joke.

Fletcher says the government "stands ready" to introduce its integrity commission legislation once Labor is on board. To be clear. There are only two reasons governments don't introduce legislation: 1. Concerns about your own people refusing to support it.

For the Queensland Resources Council to suggest mining creates more jobs in an electorate than there are registered voters in that electorate crosses the line. Fake news harms democracy. #auspol #qldpol

@TonyHWindsor @DanielBleakley Tony can you please ask why an innocent man would edit his Wikipedia history circa 1988 on the weekend...just prior to it becoming public. Doesn't make sense.

Their very odd priorities: * man admits himself to hospital for mental health, we immediately ring the Daily Tele * Minister so ill she cant appear in public, treating physician immediately rings the PM * woman found distressed & dishevelled so we, um, call the steam cleaners

37 years ago today, Medicare was born. It’s one of Australia’s greatest achievements. But we can’t be complacent. This photo was taken in 1996 when the Howard Government was trying to close a Medicare office in my community. Labor built Medicare and we’ll defend it. Always.
