Watched an interview with Casey Neistat today, who talked about how all the teenagers take selfies on point-and-shoot cameras instead of smartphones now. iPhone photos have gotten too perfect. The automatic photo editing software has gotten so good that photos have been stripped.

Sometimes I feel ashamed of Tuneshine edge cases I haven’t gotten around to handling yet, then I see stuff like this and feel a bit better.

I asked them to send me a $300 consulting invoice, as they’d already scheduled my work and I might still need their help later. I am very skeptical about a lot of AI hype but seeing this play out has been somewhat eye opening. And at this stage for me saving $3k is huge!.

This is striking to me for a few reasons. - Claude 3.5 couldn’t solve this problem, but 4 could.- It’s my first direct tangible example of AI replacing a paid software engineer.- Maybe I’m next?.
