After covering the Pentagon for 35 years, I’m turning in my building badge today rather than submit to DoD’s vague new policies that restrict my right to engage in ordinary and legal news gathering. My Pentagon press corps colleagues and I will continue to inform the public

France have waged war on scrum feeding. This season, they have applied a World Rugby-sanctioned trial forcing the ball to be put in down the middle of the tunnel (as well as other tests for maul “swimming” and orange cards). The results have been stark. https://t.co/OmWmgyohJU

Almost all of reporters featured on wall in the Pentagon — who collectively have been covering DoD for decades if not more than a century — are set to hand in their credentials. Based on public statements, only one reporter on the wall will be credentialed by the end of tomorrow.

Kerrin Leoni's vote of 75k before specials is well below Wayne Brown but in itself would be the second highest personal vote anyone will get in NZ politics - even at the general election next year, where most electorate winners muster mid teens to mid 20,000s

Wayne Brown's vote total is comparatively small at 146,000 (but on a small turnout of under 25% after Friday's returns) - Len Brown got 230k and 160k, Phil Goff in the 180ks both times. And Brown's margin over Leoni at 90k is huge, but Goff over Tamihere in 2019 was 100k.
