Attention-seeking grieving bastards
"I'm getting a bit sick and tired of people using personal tragedies with Covid for party political agendas" @Bren4Bassetlaw says Boris Johnson has the support of more MPs than Keir Starmer did when he ran for leader - and that it's time to push on. @theJeremyVine | #JeremyVine

Calling all primaries! Retweet & like if you agree that sign language should be accepted as a ‘language’ to be taught in primary school curric. MFL in primaries is a mixed bag & I think high schools don’t always find this helpful.Let’s call for BSL to be in the NC as a language.

This initiative was about helping not hindering. Oh, and as a school, we were only told about this change on the Monday before we broke up.

getting all your children ready to walk 1.7miles uphill in the rain (and then back again) to receive a voucher that you used to just get on your phone. Makes me furious. My mum would've really struggled with this when I was young. T

we had to issue a letter instead that they could take to the community pantry and exchange for their voucher. Our local pantry is a mobile one which is only open for 90mins on a Tuesday. It rained all day yesterday. Can you imagine being a single parent with no car,

As a headteacher this makes me angry; I can’t even begin to imagine how nurses feel. ‘People’ like this should be held to account for these complete lies. Alas, the same people will vote for them because they always have. #edchat #education #ToryCorruption

Bitterly disappointing to hear reinforcement of negative gender stereotypes on @bbceastenders 'I've seen girls hit harder than that' and I don't accept dramatic license as a reason. #thisgirlcan

Evening #edutwitter any good suggestions for primary-age books with a good representation of characters of different ethnicities and abilities? Not looking for stories about diversity just lovely stories where all our pupils get to relate to a character. @_Reading_Rocks_ ?

Still, not as weak as I thought it might be. Will be interesting to see the reactions and subsequent actions.

'Difficult to justify?' I, for one, wouldn't have considered trying to justify those decisions. They are shameful. #SueGrayReport #JohnsonOut7

After 22 years of teaching, today is my first ever 'sick' day. The Covid finally got me! Still managing emails and virtual meetings but achey and sounding like Marge Simpson!

Squid Games and Pennywise have a new contender... Huggy Wuggy... just a heads up for all those primary staff that may overhear this 'game' on the playground. It's not pleasant. I was introduced to it by a 5yr old today 😪 #primary #edutwitter #OnlineSafety
