Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped this car with false plates travelling at 137kph in 100kph area. The driver had no insurance and 2 Bench warrants and the car was found to be stolen. They were arrested and the car was seized. #SaferRoads #ItsAJobWorthDoing

Naas Roads Policing Unit carried out speed checks at Kilcock Road when they stopped this car. The driver produced an international permit, but by using the #MobilityApp it was found that the driver was an unaccompanied Learner. The car was seized and the driver was fined.

Naas RPU were carrying out speed checks at Blacktrench recently when they detected this car travelling at a speed of 139kph in a 60kph Zone. They were stopped & the driver was arrested & charged with dangerous driving, court to follow. #KeepingPeopleSafe

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit stopped this car travelling 145kph on the M8. It was discovered, using the #MobilityApp, that the driver never held a driving licence and as a result no insurance. The car was seized and court to follow. #SlowDown

Gardaí in Lusk and Balbriggan conducted several MIT checkpoints recently. Over 450 drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs. One person was arrested for drunk driving, and another for drug driving. Multiple vehicles were seized for various traffic violations, and fines issued.

While on patrol, the Naas RPU stopped a vehicle in the Monread area. A check using the Mobility App revealed that the driver was disqualified and had no insurance, tax, or licence. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver was arrested and charged. Court to follow.

Naas RPU on patrol in Celbridge stopped this car. A check using the Mobility App revealed that the driver had been disqualified for 10 years and had no insurance or driving license. The driver was arrested, brought to Leixlip Garda Station, and charged. Car impounded.

Tipperary RPU intercepted this car in Nenagh and discovered the driver held neither a licence nor insurance. The motorist was then arrested on suspicion of drug driving, having failed a test for cocaine & cannabis. Vehicle seized & court appearance to follow. #SaferRoads

Naas RPU operated multi agency checkpoints in North Kildare recently. The driver was found to be twice over the legal limit and was arrested for driving under the influence. According to the Mobility App, the driver had already been disqualified for eight years.
