Flighty comes remarkably close to the Platonic ideal of an app. It's beautiful, seamlessly integrated, and incredibly useful. I love seeing it get traction: https://t.co/srneHU3kzB @Flighty

Flighty condenses a year of flying into a single shareable passport, tapping into what psychologists say is a desire to draw meaning from our fast-moving lives

Would you believe that adding iCloud sync to an app can be as simple as adding a single line of code?

So fun to see how people are using the Foundation Models framework. Free, private, on-device intelligence for your own apps!

Loving Foundation Model access on iOS 26, so many possibilities. Here are a few simple features that we’ve added in Crouton so far 😊

Right now, while I'm posting nonsense here, my junior 10X engineer is very kindly writing a ton of package documentation -- examples I'd never have had the time or energy to create myself.

Writing code with an LLM is like hiring a "junior 10X engineer". They're fast, confident, often wrong if left to their own devices, but with the right prompting can achieve amazing things. I love the force multiplier effect.

Congratulations to @gaberivera on the 20th birthday of @techmeme. It's been my work browser homepage or my first bookmark for at least 18 of those years, and I've always considered "making it to Techmeme" to be the benchmark that matters for announcements I've worked on.

I'm looking at SwiftUI I wrote in 2020. So much has changed! NavigationView, ObservableObject, foregroundColor(), cornerRadius(), tabItem(), navigationBarTitle() / navigationBarItems(), no multiple trailing closures, `self.` needed everywhere… it's like a different framework 😅

Another great tip from Enid. So much power in the #SwiftUI framework that it's tough to have it all in your head at once. Enid's infographics are as valuable as an LLM subscription as a force multiplier.

New in SwiftUI 🚀 Use labelReservedIconWidth() to reserve a fixed width for icons in labels. This ensures titles stay perfectly aligned, even when icons have different sizes. → https://t.co/JnFQ3zO29q

When I emigrated to the US over twenty years ago, I struggled to do the (easiest) Monday crossword, because I didn't know all the cultural tropes. Now I just hit a fun streak milestone -- despite some close shaves 😅! Thanks for 1,111 days of fun, @NYTGames!
