@erinhale @TaiwanNewsEN I can get nostalgia for rapid economic growth or perhaps in relation to CKS, but it's still odd to me. Then again, many Koreans still talk fondly of Park Chung-Hee, too.

@wentisung @timothysrich Three of them contributed to Taiwan's democracy. Chiang Ching-Kuo ended KMT one-party rule & opened the door to democracy.Lee Tun-Hui made Taiwan's democracy a reality.Tsai has been able to take Taiwan out of diplomatic isolation. Ma lives in a fantasy land created by his father.
