Victims essentially have no recourse when federal agents violate their rights. The stories are nauseating. This bill would address that. But it will almost certainly die, because many lawmakers have decided it's OK to hold the most powerful people to the lowest standard.
The Supreme Court has made it effectively impossible to sue federal agents for civil rights violations. New legislation in Congress would fix that.

@united is saying this is entirely the weather's fault, so they don't have to do anything but rebook. I guess we're just going to ignore that the other airlines haven't had nearly as many delays and cancelations. Maybe the other terminals have better weather?

Then we sat at the gate for an hour waiting for an update. The update was finally "flight's canceled, go talk to customer service." The customer service line is over a hundred yards long and taking hours to get through.
