🧵 It has been a couple of days and I have been trying to find the right words, but all I can say is THANK YOU. I am so honoured to have been elected to serve the @cityofpg as a City Councillor. Serving the community is a great honour and a responsibility I take seriously. 1/

100% @KirkpatrickWVC. Have been feeling this struggle the last day and unless there is a sudden shift in policy when looking at things such as SOGI, UNDRIP, women's rights and climate I feel that the centre and right of centre members of BC United won't go to BC cons as expected
You have left all of us middle-of-the-road centrist voters with no political home here in BC. Thanks a lot.

and she was adamant that she wanted to work behind the scenes and at was manning the dishwashing sink. A volunteer position she held for many years. @shirleybond words can express the debt this community owes you, and personally thanks for being an example of how to serve.

I have taken a break from Twitter / X but all the craziness of the BC political scene has enticed me to log back in. I first off want to give nothing but respect to @shirleybond. Since 2001 she has represented #CityofPG and region in Victoria 1/
