When people say cricket would suffer I disagree, junior cricket matches are on week nights generally. Junior matches the weekends. It would just mean the sports would have to talk to their local counterpart to sort days out. but that can't be a big issue.

I can see the argument for Rugby and Football in the Summer months. It would definitely benefit the skill level & be amazing for off field events. Your biggest issue is council owned pitches with cricket. How do you get past that?.
