Obviously, this eradicates time information and any hope to observe dynamics. We solved this problem and observed multiple dyes at the same time. This not only challenges textbook knowledge, but implies interesting applications for dynamic structural biology.

Why is this important?. Optical super-resolution typically requires ON/OFF switching of fluorescent dyes to seperate densely packed emitters in time. An image is reconstructed from subsequent single-molecule localizations. One can only observe a single dye at a time.
