I stand by everything I said during the opening - yes, we were all hoping to see each other in person, but my thoughts are with all authors who otherwise wouldn't have been able to present their fantastic work. We see you.

I was heartbroken that we had to go entirely online, but I knew we would be able to do it because Hamar LOC @NaceySusan and Vilnius LOC showed us that it was possible. We were just trying to follow in your footsteps.

For me personally, it was a crash course on treating perfectionism and practising patience — because no matter how much you prepare for the unexpected, life always finds a way. Sometimes it meant Zoom kicking you out of your own event 😉

There’s a huge group of people behind RaAM who made it possible: from the entire Białystok Organizing Committee (hi @TomaszMichta), through the @RaAM_org EC (especially @AllisonCreed and @PaulaPSobrino), and all conference participants.

Organizing this year’s @RaAMconf was one of the biggest challenges I had to face in my really short academic career. I am extremely grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement that we received this past year. 🧵 #RaAM15PL
