I understand that from the hero standpoint they couldn’t, it was to protect them, they agonized over it, blah blah. But no I don’t blame the loved one for being upset.

The friend or girlfriend mad that hero kept their identity a secret trope. In a world where superheroes have super villains targeting their loved ones, I think it’s perfectly reasonable for the object of affection to be upset they fell for someone who may get them killed

Also: the people leading some of these are known industry professionals, such as Keith Baker, Monte Cook, B Dave Walters, and more. To some, this is a chance to be in the room w these people and bounce ideas off of them, as well as a networking event. Again mileage may vary.

Now that stated. Yes it is a ton of money to spend to learn something you can learn on your own. The value of this is going to vary person to person, I know for myself I would rather spend the same amount on a convention. Though that’s most every business conference retreat.

Sometimes I wonder how much ledgers death contributed to the way the second movie shook out. Would Batman have quit for 10 years or whatever had ledger still been available to play the role? I don’t know. I hated. HATED. The third movie.

5. No inclusion of the bat family. Sort of in line with 3, replacing Bruce’s strengths and weaknesses as a father figure with a love triangle sorta sucked. Lost a big aspect of him there. There was a lot to like though. Great story overall, phenomenal performances, great tone.

3. Rachel. I just wasn’t keen on giving Bruce “1 great love”. He seemed desperate to leave the life which is a markedly non Batman way to handle things. Gyllanhall did great though don’t get me wrong.4. Removing the bat cave. Boy that was a huge let down after movie 1.
