The AD&D version of this would have the magic-user say, "You have hit points, plural?".
So, what are our thoughts on systems that use stress, damage thresholds, and wound mechanics instead of the more traditional Hit Point systems? Any games out there that do this particularly well? 🎲🧐

You can--and should--just make your own lore. I've got 736 pieces of lore at home.
How important is lore to a game? Should GMs know as much lore as possible going in to an established setting or should they just wing it?. Going to be chatting with the lore master @AJPickett1 tomorrow at 7PM EST to get his take on this!.

May I suggest
I’ve played three or four different editions of D&D (and loads of other fantasy TTRPGs), and 5e really is my least favorite one. I wish young roleplayers today would get a better introduction to the hobby.
