Great to be invited along to this tasting, big thanks to @whisky_me_ for the invite. The @jeadiewhisky Benrinnes was the pick for me tonight but plenty to enjoy about the Teaninich and Glenlossie too – not had much from either distillery so great to try them in their purest form.

@whisky_me_ @jeadiewhisky Benrinnes 9yo - 46%. This Benrinnes is lovely - ripe orchard fruits, digestive biscuits, with a savoury backbone - great texture on this, a lovely weight to the spirit. Always enjoy a Benrinnes and this is no exception.

@whisky_me_ Teaninich 5yo - 47.5%. Initially this much more savoury than the Glenlossie, then sweet vanilla and a little chalky, good texture, very spirit-led but the quality is high. Not had much Teaninich, nice to try something that is very much the distillery character.

@whisky_me_ Glenlossie 5yo - 47.5%. This Glenlossie is very bright and fruity, big citrus - dangerously easy drinking! Underlying icing-sugar sweetness, very spirit-forward.

I love a peaty dram and this is right up my street! Lovely stuff, and absolutely perfect for this time of year 🔥🥃😊 @DrinkGlenturret @whisky_me_.

Next up it's the @DrinkGlenturret 10yo Peat Smoked. On the nose it's damp dunnage, dark fruits, and earthy peat… lovely! The palate is sweet and dirty, great texture, Christmas spices, and the ABV is spot on 😋 @whisky_me_

This is a decent dram for a cold autumn evening, gets better the longer it’s in the glass and becomes a bit moreish. @DewarsAberfeldy @whisky_me_.

First up @DewarsAberfeldy 12yo. The nose is all apple crumble, orange rind, and soft spices. On the palate it's a little thin for me but full of orchard fruits, sweet vanillas, and mixed spices with a warming peppery finish. @whisky_me_

Liquid Americana, has a lovely nose - sweet, spicy, juicy oak… really oily in the glass. Soft and warming arrival, decent texture but not quite as much as the legs promised, still quite creamy and very moreish. #NationalBourbonDay #YellowstoneBourbon @whisky_me_
