You can now override the resource that Flow uses to call actions. For example, when updating order tags, you can change from the default {{ https://t.co/zJEoj7hQFh }} to another order, like if you are in a for-each loop or are using Run code.

If you ever used Run code to generate an ID or if you have 2 resources in a workflow, you may have wanted to change the resource Flow auto-assigns to actions. Now you can! https://t.co/ELzXegt9bp

One of the most valuable products @Shopify has built in my opinion is Shopify Flow. Especially with Sidekick, and just the general need to action data, it's more important than ever to push data where you need it. That's never been easier than with Shopify Flow. That's why

Flow added 2 new run code examples to our repo. One shows how to use the response from several LLMs in Run code. https://t.co/LS0C7ey7ib The second does the same for MCP tool calls: https://t.co/jVXonHSleH Also, Flow is now using the 2025-04 API version.

If you ever read API docs, you know that almost all of them have cURL examples you can copy and use in your terminal. Now you can import from those cURLs in Flow's Send HTTP Request.

Now that Send HTTP request can return data, it's also an unlock for some of the gaps in Flow. For example, if Flow is missing a query, you can DIY. If Flow does't offer a field (hello translations) you can DIY. Want to connect one shop to another? Also possible. What are you

Who had the @realDonaldTrump @elonmusk split at 135 or so days? Seriously though it's hard for someone with principles to work with someone how has none.

So much good stuff in Horizons. In Flow, two earth movers: Send http request is complete with ability to return data and a new secrets manager. You can now view sample data for the variables as you choose them in Flow, bringing your data right to your finger tips.

One of my favorite things that is now trivial is translation. With little effort I can translate a question or support request and answer in my own language. And not much is lost.

Adding to the power of "For each" in Flow, you can now do up to 2 levels of nesting in the loops. For example, in a workflow that fetches orders, you can loop over those orders in the first loop and then loop over line items from each order in the second loop.

Great, introspective article about happiness by David Brooks . Might be neatly summarized as "The obstacle is the way", which happens to be a great book on stoicism.

Hey all - we introduced Built for Shopify to help developers build high quality merchant experiences and reward them for doing so. It's been a major success: nearly 800 apps meet all the requirements, raising the bar for app design and performance across the entire Shopify App
