English farmers are now the only farmers in the UK or Europe who are not financially supported in their primary mission to produce our food. This is wrong. In Parliament this morning, I asked the Secretary of State to put this right.

Just cancelled our #SewageSludge. To be honest, I don’t like letting anyone down, but I think it’s a better protest than blocking roads or upsetting the public. Maybe Sir Kier will smell the dissatisfaction with this stinky tax policy….

Such a pleasure to be told by a monopoly body such as @BASISRegLtd how happy I should be at a 35% increase in fee, funding aspects I never requested. Doubtless the levy payer will be equally delighted to ultimately pick up the tab… unjustifiable in tone, principle or practice

Easy to question why the AHDB haven’t been delivering any changes on farm but really happy to see Tom step up and have a go. He says judge him on the results. Good luck- the industry needs a strong AHDB.
Times are tough, things are changing. Now, more than ever, farming needs to come together. Farming needs a team on it's side, fighting it's corner. Judge me on that. @AHDB_Cereals

Feeling slightly old this morning! Back in 2004 I sold some barley for £55/t and that number has always stayed with me. This morning sugar beet price has also reached £55/t!

The @Conservatives demanding ⬇️quality food at ⬇️ prices. The 🇪🇺 environmental rules were purely their to put up prices according Mogg 🤦🏻♂️. They couldn’t care less about UK farmers let alone the long term health of the nation.
