Daily journal of building a novel beverage brand and many more businesses to come.

Ok, I'm back. No excuses anymore. It's now day 0 of posting every single day about starting my own business. Documenting my journey. Keeping myself accountable. And hopefully inspire as many people as possible along the way to take that leap as well. Enjoy.

Donโt feel too cool to ask for help. Especially in the beginning of your journey you should soak up as much opinions as possible. And for god sake donโt be shy to tell others about your idea. Everyone else is busy with their own stuff anyways. Seek criticism. #day34

Best tool to build a waitlist landing page for an ecom store? Currently thinking about a simple and clean Framer template with some minor adjustments by me. Any thoughts? #day33

Trust the process. Itโs crazy how much of an attention spike it causes putting โfounderโ in your profile. Itโll get you in touch with other interesting people who might even be some steps ahead of you. Donโt force to network, itโll come to you at the right time. #day32

Focus or diversify? Might have an offer to run a second company before having even started the first one properly. #day31

If you are a solopreneur, go out there and find like-minded people that are at the same stage on their journey as you. It's so much more fun, inspiring - and it's kinda lonely to sit on your own at home all-the time. Grow together, help each other, enjoy the process. #day30

Those founders that stop being curious or re-inventing themselves on a consistent basis shouldn't complain about drifting into insignificance. #day29

Currently deep down the design rabbit hole on Pinterest. How can I possibly decide on a branding for my own product? So amazing and inspiring stuff out there ... #day28

If you're one of the best employees at your company, you should damn sure be building something for yourself on the side. When a company is willing to pay you for your knowledge and skills, the open market will likely pay you more. Maybe even 5x more.

Finding a good and reliable supplier is already half the battle. Your product quality, consistency, and the resulting customer satisfaction is key. It's worth the effort to conduct an in-depth comparison process, as it will save you many headaches in the long run. #day27

Let me tell you something. When you think youโve finally figured it out and that nothing will stop you. Youโre wrong. Every day is day 1 and you always have to prove yourself that youโre worthy running that business. Sh*t is going to happen for sure. React wisely. #day26

Spending some time with my mom today. Not every day is a hustle day. I donโt wanna regret not having shared enough memories with my loved ones. #day25

Todayโs the day. Potentially my last day being an employee ever. From tomorrow onwards Iโm focussing my entire time and energy on my own projects. How did you feel when you took that leap? Canโt wait. #day24

What's your take on telling other about your idea? I feel like I've told way to many people already before having even started ๐

The market will almost always pay more for your skills than your employer will. Build something for yourself, or stay underpaid forever.
