I'm ready to write a lot of code for a relatively complicated part of a web project. This kind of stuff would have taken me a good day in the past. ClaudeAI is like, "Can I take a look at the UX"? 30 mins later, done + live Tell me this is not the best time to be alive.

Decide your goals and what you want to accomplish first, then pick the tech later. Tech only facilitates and cements your decisions.

Over the last decade, we've all ditched the big business plan document in place of shorter versions, eg Business Model Canvas I think it's worth spending half a day completing the large business plan, even if you end up tossing it. It really does make you think through stuff

Never get attached to a particular AI model's capabilities. These #GenAI models are changing so fast.. The minute you crown a certain model as King of a specific capability, then the other model gets an update, and the king is dethrone It's never a dull moment in AI land.

Maybe I should cancel my @GeminiApp trial. As soon I decided to upgrade to Gemini for Google Workspace then I started to see all sorts of issues e.g. Not being able to delete my chats. This should be a fairly straightforward functionality of any Gen AI chat interface.

The AI game keeps getting more interesting. Meta AI was something I'd never consider a marketer for content creation but now I'm starting to look pretty good. My first test task was to turn a YouTube transcript into LinkedIn posts using the PAS framework and had a decent output

This AI stuff is getting so good. It's taken only 5 minutes to analyse lots of negative reviews using Google Gemini to find the common avatar pain points and dream outcomes This will come in handy in coming up with ad and content ideas

Email marketing is not dead Maybe it's your email campaigns that suck. I've just spent the last 20 minutes carefully reading through one of my newsletter subscriptions and even saved it to Evernote for future action If the content is valuable, people will open and read

While consuming content is great. It’s easy to get caught up in the ever ending looping of learning more and not actioning what you’ve actually learned.

Idea #3: Delete the YouTube app on my phone and only consume YouTube on my computer. This workflow has worked really well for Facebook and Twitter.

Idea #2: Create a weekly recap article of everything I have learnt that week on my blog

Idea #1: Force myself to make notes about every video/podcast I watch on YouTube/listen to.

I often find myself consuming too much content and not applying most of what I learn. I’m thinking of a few ways to fix this but would be open to your ideas

This pretty much sums up my life right now as an ex-dev turned marketer. Every time I think I have completely hung my coding boots, some marketing data requirements or system integration dilemma requires me to write code to expedite things.
