This last point, are we misnaming events, with poor understanding and thus bad management. .
* Are all extreme rains in Himachal really cloudbursts.* Why is muck, not water, flooding our rivers.* Is reckless construction triggering โnaturalโ disasters.* Can Himachal survive without restoring its fragile slopes.* Are we misnaming tragedies and absolving ourselves of blame

๐ฏ .And it's not just export. it's all businesses. The amount of paperwork is so incredibly time consuming it's exhausting & difficult for a small business to be more effective & contribute to the growth cycle!.
Yet another example of how business is being strangulated by a bureaucratic system. This is what the govt needs to address if the PMs assurance to promote industry, trade, exports has to translate on ground. There are solutions to end extortion and inspector raj.

Just a terrible terrible day for those families ๐ . Let's be clear this is not about the rain and the trees, two aspects of nature that go very well together, but about poor infrastructure and bad management?.
I canโt stop thinking about this video. Life ends in a second. Thanks to a little rain. And a tree on a road. Delhi is a dying city.

Very important thread from Kunal. Spot on analysis as always. India has friends but this is the key Q. will folks stake their political capital? this is not always on then, it's Also on us. Will folks in India do the same? . & not just vsv the US but other key partners as well.
They cannot get their way with the admin on ALL of those things. So, they MUST prioritize. Will India figure at the top of their list? The most likely answer is: NO. Even very influential people in the admin have limited political capital that they must use judiciously. 5/7.
