As much as I have tried to make a career in security happen for me, until there is more true diversity, equality, & empathy happening, I don't plan to be returning to an FTE role in cybersecurity. It is a hard enough industry. Big egos & misogyny make things worse for everybody.

One of the hardest realizations I have had to openly admit (and now publicly) is that I am just not a fast writer. However, I am an effective writer. If you want a 24-hour turnaround time or less, then I am not your writer. Quality over quantity is my motto.

Update! So good news, but not glowing news. There is another cyst again. However, they are confident it is not cancerous so we are going to take a monitor and watch approach before resorting to another surgery. Endometrial issues are no joke my friends. Take care of your body.

All of thisssss! I got sober in 2021. Now 16 months alcohol-free. Paying off debt regularly. Went into business for myself. Yesterday I had to drop almost $900 on car maintenance stuff cause it was due, & for the first time in 13 years, I didn't flinch or complain about the $$.
