The last 2 days of Writing Dis'stories has been so fulfilling. Some incredible dis'stories were written, great discussions and a real sense of community. Thank you @bournemouthuni @HumanitiesUoS for funding this event and to my colleagues for their support.

It’s been a very busy week, but a highlight of it was speaking on the radio (BBC) with @SteveHarrisDJ about disabled role models, inaccuracies in representation and platforming writing by disabled people. Happy Friday!

Excited to be on @BBCRadioSolent tomorrow morning at 7:50 to discuss the Writing Dis’stories event that I have organised for disabled writers. Within this space, I’m hoping that we can use writing to challenge inaccuracies in representation & narrate the issues important to us
