i had no idea u could setup different user names for git per machine but still use same email for authentication. so you can setup user name = laptop on one machine and user name = linux on another with same email. so when u look at git log u will see the machine u used

if your tutuorial includes "pip install" then switch to "uv pip install". IT TOOK 20 minutes to install @trychroma via pip and 5 seconds using uv pip install. THIS IS INSANITY. @astral_sh and @charliermarsh should run side by side experiments. i don't know if my setup is
