Just this week we've had Memories & Moments Dementia Cafe, Free Children's Christmas Party tomorrow, Seniors lunch club Christmas Party and our monthly disability disco Friday. Plus packed darts tournament yesterday. But we are struggling financially
.@Sacha_Lord is right. A pub is more than just a pint. It’s a community, livelihoods, part of a wider sector of hospitality, nightlife & creative activities. We lose this sector at our peril - and with it our live music, our clubs, our theatre and our festivals. #LabourHatesFun

@thebevy @lukerobertblack It’s bloody hard isn’t it. Same with @HomebakedBakery despite everything we do for the community we never catch a break. Working class run community businesses in working class areas seem to be finding it harder & harder. Sending you best wishes

It was a Christmas miracle we opened our community pub 11 years ago, but its tough. Our community activities support over 250 people a month and we think something worth fighting for. So we are making some changes
