‘The party of the people’ is happy to see our nature decimated, as long as they get a tasty packet under the table, most likely. @Keir_Starmer
I’ve woken up even more furious as I process what #Labour has done. A 3 line whip to ensure swift bricks are blocked after promising to do it? What a betrayal. People power will work. Email me at thefeatherspeech@gmail.com & you’ll get a template to amend & use

These are the people who blocked the swift brick amendment last night. 102 Labour Peers thanks to the rather extreme 3 line whip which just goes to show how much #Labour do NOT want to help nature let alone swifts. Normally a 3 line whip is used for fairly extreme amendments.

If the govt can’t make easy, cheap small changes to save a much-loved species, I dread to think how they’ll handle the hard choices that need to be made to prevent further #biodiversity decline… @Keir_Starmer yet another reason for you and your govt to be ashamed of yourselves.
BAD NEWS💔if the vote had taken place earlier we would have won-Tories (majority) whipped YES but by the time of the vote, support had gone home just like 2 years ago. It is an AGONISING reality. Tell steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk what you think. GUTTED. Labour: what a betrayal 😡

Share this if you want the House of Lords to SAVE OUR SWIFTS. Today Parliamentary peers will vote for or against swift bricks. Labour Peers will be whipped to vote NO, Lib Dem’s YES, & Tories can choose. 🤷♀️ COME ON THE LORDS!!!!!!!

LOCATING A VAMPIRE GRAVE according to folk belief, you should lead a WHITE HORSE around the graveyard. Horses are thought to be sensitive to spirits thus the horse will refuse to step over the grave of a VAMPIRE. Ideally, a virgin boy should ride the horse! #31DaysOfHalloween

“I find it hard to imagine the living elephant that possessed these tusks. I've never seen elephants with tusks anything like this size, and now, I never will. They are all gone, dead, almost all killed by man for their ivory. The elephant was killed by poachers in Tsavo in

Trappers just like to trap and harm animals. They only do it because for them it is fun. Trapping should be banned everywhere. #BanTrapping

Jane Goodall inspired me. I especially admired how she extended her empathy for some animals into advocating for compassion to all animals. This is not the normal reaction. Most people bond with their cat or their dog and think "we really ought to protect cats and dogs." Or they
