The "base model we deployed" is Meta AI's Llama 3 8b Instruct model, an open-source AI trained by Facebook.
Thanks to open source a small company like Gab can compete to-to-toe with the likes of Google, Meta, and X. The base model we just deployed to Arya @Gab__AI outperforms or performs on par with all of the frontier top AI models shipped by these companies--and we didn't need.
