My app is almost ready for release but there are some instances of stuttering in my UI and I believe the culprit is a massive ObservableObject struct which fetches data from HealthKit… that is not running async. The refactor has proven difficult. I need to learn more about.

Thoughts on my app UI for sleep data?. Built with SwiftUI and integrates with HealthKit. Apple is also giving devs access to the Alarm API so I plan to create an Alarm feature so sleep data will be tracked automatically for those without an Apple Watch :)

Got @RevenueCat integrated locally 🫡. Was super easy to setup a paywall, I was shocked how easy it was. Still working on the onboarding experience. Studying videos like this one from @StevenCravotta 👇.

What are the best resources for designing app onboarding and paywalls?.

Getting closer to launch and I can feel the doubts creeping in. In all likelihood hardly anyone will download my app. Need to accept I can only control releasing it, marketing it, improving it, and then working on my next project 🙏.

Building my first onboarding flow today in my mobile app. I’m not gonna do like 10+ screens like it seems a lot are doing, probably 4 to 5 and then a soft paywall. The “free” version of the app will essentially just let you look at the visualizations, tapping anywhere will bring.

Any San Diego builders out there interested?.
