It’s World Environment Day! The theme is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. One proactive group within the Murray–Darling Basin is the Western Paddlers NSW who kayak the Dubbo region rivers, cleaning up rubbish & plastic. Thanks to these environmental warriors! #WorldEnvironmentDay

CEWH Dr Simon Banks and staff visited the Effluent creek system (Macquarie Valley - NSW). Dr Banks talked to landholders about the ecological & social importance of the creeks plus potential ways to deliver #waterfortheenvironment. Thanks to @WaterNSW for helping with the tour.
