Such good news to read from @VicFisheries. Water for the environment is supporting native fish across the MurrayâDarling Basin and these reports reinforce the good results our science program, Flow-MER, is documenting.
The âReport cards for key native recreational fisheriesâ project is an ongoing collaboration and thereâs plenty of terrific results, listed online here

The Narran Lakes Open Days were a wonderful success with community members & a number of school groups getting to know the ecology, biology and geography of this wetland ecosystem. Thanks to @UNSWScience for helping answer many a question from young enquiring minds! @CES_UNSW

Each part of the MurrayâDarling Basin is different so itâs important to travel and get on-the-ground facts. CEWH Dr Simon Banks spent time in the Lower Balonne recently to discuss water management and also tour Cubbie Station. #waterfortheenvironment

Itâs World Environment Day! The theme is âBeat Plastic Pollutionâ. One proactive group within the MurrayâDarling Basin is the Western Paddlers NSW who kayak the Dubbo region rivers, cleaning up rubbish & plastic. Thanks to these environmental warriors! #WorldEnvironmentDay
