A workshop on home energy and heat pumps at @IrvingInstitute and organized by Thayer researchers @huntertsnyder and Lynée Turek-Hankins. Attendees shared challenges and opportunities with heat pumps as alternatives to furnaces and AC to reduce energy usage.

When Prof. Sol Diamond founded Lodestone Biomedical, he aimed to accelerate cancer research by immediately detecting immune response during early-stage drug development. He is now utilizing another new technology to finance his company: equity crowdfunding.

A team led by Professor Don Perovich, with PhD students Ian Raphael and Savannah Byron, was awarded $296k to increase their seasonal ice mass balance buoys–part of a $1.8mil investment by @NOAA to expand critical ice and ocean observations in the Arctic.

At this year's @BMESociety Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MS student Anisia Tiplea '24 (pictured) presented her senior honors thesis, and @HixonLab gave an invited talk on their bone regeneration work​​​ supported by the Dartmouth Innovations Accelerator for Cancer! 👏
