Cpl James Albert Rioux USMC March 14,1948 - May 29, 2021 “Just missing my Dad a little extra today, love looking at the photos he took in Vietnam. I don’t know where this was taken but it was sometime between 1966-1967. He was only 18 or 19. I miss him every single day. Bless

Nice Car - The 1981 Coyote in-house chassis built by AJ Foyt was the first full "ground effects" car designed by Bob Riley with tunnels under the sidepods. The car often "overachieved" on downforce & the team couldn't always find springs strong enough to make the suspension work.

OMG...I heard about the "Outlaws", especially Opperman. I saw him, Wolfgang, Kinser & Swindel race at the capital Speedway 1/4 mile dirt track in the late '60's. I truly loved watching him...the best memory. Thanks Morris 🏁

Amazing that they pitched in the same era. Sandy started a bit earlier and had to retire with arm problems. Bob just carried on making frequent WS appearances. What a duo.
