I've said before there needs to be a temporary 100% charge option. Slide it up to 100% and it should ask "just this time?" And if you say yes, it reverts to your last limit next charge. Easy. Pretty please,

A friend on a business trip had a head-on collision with a SUV in a rental car today. Totaled it. All airbags fired. BUT, it was a Tesla, so her and the other 2 in the car dusted themselves off and walked away. She flew home early & we got her in our Tesla.

So Aunt Kathy & Uncle John happened upon a Model Y performance at a BMW dealership, and bought it on the spot! Unsurprisingly, no one at BMW knew anything. Their first acceleration pinned their heads back, then they drove home and looked for the charge port. Fantastic. 🤣⚡🔌

EVs aren't exactly cheap, BUT... On Carfax I'm seeing tons of used Chevy Bolts for $20k-28k. Given that every one of them has, or qualifies for, a brand new battery that gets 250-ish miles of range, isn't that a pretty damn good deal? Camry pricing without gasoline costs.
