If you’re like me and tired of the constant, consistent betrayal and failures from those who are meant to keep us safe then link the causes you want others to see below. Let’s stop relying on corrupt cops and ignorant leaders to keep us safe and start keeping each other safe. /9

Having these beliefs has led to me not being surprised by what the police are doing but instead to being disappointed by what those around us are doing about it. /7

I’ve grown up in a time where calling the police meant you were risking someone else’s life. My mom taught me not to call the police unless I was in mortal danger because it meant that I was putting someone else in danger. /5 #ACAB

I am a senior in high school who plans a career in journalism. My father was an original Columbia protester and that has inspired a love of truth and arguing in me. But watching what is going on at Columbia, UCLA, M.I.T, etc. has sickened me to my core. /3

At what point did we as a country decide that it's ok to abuse our youths? When did we decide it is ok to call in the militaristic police forces to drag them off campuses? What makes it ok to do that to young minds who want to speak out for something they are passionate about? /2
