MS is exploring a Linux-style top menu bar for Win11 via new PowerToys feature. It would sit at screen top (like macOS/Linux DEs), giving quick access to sys stats, media ctrls, pinned apps & Cmd Palette shortcuts. Still early exploration, no release date yet.
