Mohamed Salah largely gets what he wants with Egypt, speaks when he likes, the world rotates around him and everyone accepts it. It probably feeds into why he thinks he can occasionally stamp his feet at Liverpool. His stoppage-time winner against Zimbabwe showed why the

🚨 EXCL: Antoine Semenyo preference is to join Man City in January. Nothing formal until market opens but #AFCB attacker favours #MCFC. Man Utd pushed hard + never planned to use 25yo at wing-back but winter switch was always tough for #MUFC @TheAthleticFC

Mo Salah wins it for Egypt because of course he does 😤 His stoppage-time goal sealed the 2-1 comeback over Zimbabwe in their AFCON opener.

The Liverpool emblem 🥺🥺🥺 But Carragher has the right to bash him for weeks on end because it’s “his” club and not Salah’s and all he cares about is himself.

Fxck everyone that blamed Salah for Liverpool’s form. It’s a system problem. It’s a coaching problem.

Of course VDV didn’t purposefully tackle Isak recklessly and mean to injure him but scissor tackles need to be met with harsh punishment so players stop doing it and learn how to tackle differently. So often, players get injured because of them.

Egypt needs to regain control and just slow down. They’re playing so erratically and desperately, it’s chaos.

Slot completely stunting the Liverpool attack this season, especially Salah’s playmaking ability is unforgivable.

I don’t understand why the Spurs players were being so aggressive on Saturday. The number of tackles they did that could have ended in serious injury like this one was insane. That’s not their usual game so where did it come from?

🚨 Alexander Isak set for period on sidelines with suspected leg break from challenge in Liverpool win at Spurs. #LFC yet to comment on severity but scans poised to confirm fears of fracture to left side; recovery time typically a few months @TheAthleticFC

Make no mistake about it, Liverpool Women's dismal form this season rests at the hands of the hierarchy for their poor squad planning. They can sack Gareth Taylor all they want, but that won't fix the fundamental issues in the team. Embarrassing result.
