My timeline is so flooded with people yelling stuff without any serious backup, just to create havoc, that I'm going to start use the "mute" button. I think that hearing "the other side" is good, but this simply are random noise generators.

The reason I prefer Maven and Properties over Gradle and YAML is very simple. If I just have to configure them once, hardly ever need too change them but they just work then I will go with them, even if they are more verbose. I don't want surprises like no or 0 represents

I'm glad the somewhat uneasy, nerdy, full of ideas Elon is back. We'll see if it all will come to bear as he envisions it, but that is okay; you can dream. But please stay out of politics.

Objectief gezien he, hebben we een winnaar (D66 groeit met 17 zetels) en verliezer (PVV krimpt met 11 zetels), beide nu met 26 zetels. Moet de verliezer niet eigenlijk het eerst initiatief bij de winnaar leggen? Zou wel stijlvol zijn, maar daar is de PVV niet van.

Welk grappig hoe PVV minnend Nederland nu "fraude" schreeuwen, terwijl de totale verschuiving in de vorige verkiezingen helemaal toppie was. Het kan zijn dat mensen je verantwoordelijk houden als je je wispelturig en nukkig gedraagt, zeker als je 2 jaar hebt mogen regeren.

Apparently distributing work over more people, makes for that each person can work less and the whole still performs great. Who would have thought 😆. (Side note: I work 40 hours a week, because work=hobby.)

We leven in een bijzonder veilige tijd en samenleving, maar het gevaar is nooit 100% weg: geweld, oorlog en natuurrampen blijven mogelijk. Daar moet je rekening mee houden. De perfect veilige samenleving bestaat niet.
Het is misschien een ongemakkelijke waarheid, maar daarom niet minder waar. Na ieder ernstig geweldsincident (zoals nu weer in Amsterdam) schreeuwt iedereen van de daken 'dit nooit meer'. De realiteit is: dit zal blijven gebeuren.
