The gate may be closed but you can park your car and walk/bike/run/snowshoe/cross country ski etc. No traffic, just lots of fresh air.
Cold crisp wind from the north and a bike/run along the Atlantic coast didnโt stop us. Taylor Head Prov. Park. Enjoy winter. โ๏ธ

At dusk last evening, the entrance gate to the park was closed for the season. We are grateful that the mild weather allowed the gate to be open for an extra 1 1/2 weeks. Visitors are still encouraged to walk the main road into the park, walk the beaches, and hike the trails.

The park is not open but the main road is accessible for walking! Walking on the road has no traffic and it's wide - making social distancing easy. For the time being, the beaches inside the park are closed. When we know more we will let you know. Be well, friends!

#TaylorHead Provincial Park front gate will close for the season, Sunday Dec. 8th at dusk. @taylorheadpark still encourages visitors. There are several great walks accessible from Old Taylor Head Rd.
