two sides to this tho, The Weeknd & PND's first LP are the catalyst for the degenerate era of songwriting and low production value of RnB. Frank's producing/songwriting of songs w/in that same timeline lives in a completely different realm though to these guys.
Hot Take: this is the most important R&B album post 2010. I have it just slightly over “Trapsoul” and way above “Nostalgia, Ultra”.
