I really hate how Nigerians skitify every serious national issue. Something serious happens and within hours it becomes skit content for laughs and engagement. When every pressing issue becomes a joke, it starts to trivialize the reality people are actually suffering through.

🎶 Is it just me… or do the markets feel like a cakewalk? Round and round we go, smiling, music playing, balance sheets swaying, everybody certain they’ll still have a seat. Then the melody pauses. One chair disappears. Someone learns what risk actually meant. Music starts

It’s so hard and confusing for many Nigerians to understand that you can be straight asf and still support gay rights. It’s like you people are so evil that you can’t comprehend that?

@PeakSxnti Just stay out of it man. You can't expect people to pretend everything's fine when power is unreliable, prices keep climbing, jobs are scarce and the leadership keeps failing the people. Don't insult us. What has "staying positive" or "selling Nigeria better" actually done for

These iShowSpeed videos. Hope it drives the point home that this begging, billing and "show me love" is now an ingrained culture in Nigeria. Its not because of poverty. He's visited poorer African countries where no one is begging him on camera. Its because it accepted as norm.

At this point, I would not mind an agency that monitors vagrancy in Lagos and tackles it. Grown ass niggas sitting at every junction, unwilling to commit to honorable work and refusing to see the indignity in begging for money is a disgrace.

The begging culture in Nigeria is crazy sha. Something as simple as asking for direction to a location, the person who directed you is expecting you to “find him something” after he’s done. It’s not normal at all.
