When my son was diagnosed with autism, my wife & I sat down and cried. We didn’t know any better. But that diagnosis didn’t change anything about Caleb. It was me who needed to change. To grow. He’s taught me more in 6 years than I could ever repay in a lifetime.

Hello Fantasy Family.
Many [some] of you may know that I’m based in Maine. If you’ve followed the news at all, you know about the terrible tragedy unfolding here.
Peyton was a co-worker, classmate & friend. He left behind a wife & 2 year old daughter
Looking at my rosters right now, and realizing that there’s zero chance that I can avoid starting Gio Bernard... it’s outrageous, egregious, preposterous...
The hair of Josh McCown
The face of Jimmy Garoppolo
The beard of Ryan Fitzpatrick
The body of Cam Newton
The arm of Patrick Mahomes

I don’t @ players. I don’t believe in it. But there are some guys I just straight up enjoy. Guice is one of those people. The man gets it. (Time and again.) I’m a fan.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that Jarvis Landry has the most receptions EVER in the first 6 years of an NFL career...that since finishing WR31 as a rookie, never finished lower than WR18... while playing for Philbin/Campbell, Gase, Hue Jackson, & Freddie flipping Kitchens?!
My grandmother passed this morning. Throwback to when she ran circles around the Packers front office. (You know damn well that she’d have had Aaron Rodgers in camp.)
Rest easy, Gram.
This is my 97 year old grandmother. She has figured how to video chat. She also traded out of the first round because taking a running back there is -EV, and she’s not sold on Jordan Love. Get yourselves together NFL...
Part of the trouble with fantasy football analysis (and consuming fantasy football analysis) is that it tends to be done by people who are totally immersed in playing— and who generally play in leagues with people who are just as plugged in.
I keep hearing the phrase, “You can’t go wrong with any of the wide receivers at the top of this class.”
You absolutely CAN go wrong
Around half of us WILL go wrong
What it means is: we have no idea who will be successful WRs in the 2022 class—so pick the one YOU can live with.

You don’t have to love Corey Davis. You don’t even have to like him. But calling him terrible after a 65 catch, 895 yard 2nd season (with a combination of a nerve-damaged QB and Blaine Gabbert) is disingenuous. (He’s becoming a value in the final year of Mariota’s rookie deal.)

Turns out he’s in a 20 year old keeper league (and I have high cholesterol.)

I’m so lucky to be a part of this incredible event again this year! It just keeps getting better!
While Irv Smith is the new hotness, it feels like a pretty good time to throw out my top ten TE ranking...
1. Travis Kelce
2. George Kittle
3. Darren Waller
My friend & former student, Chef Adam Libby was nominated for a Cheer Choice Award in the Cooking category! He’s sharing his amazing creations with the world!
The Cheer Choice Awards honor positive social media creators.
That’s Adam! Toss him a vote!
My ten year old (autistic and a rule follower to the core) has decided his favorite song is Walk by Pantera…
I just heard him ask Alexa to play Walk…
What she heard was “WAP.”
Caleb: “No! No! Oh no oh no oh no! Alexa no! Alexa stop!!”
Many of you know that my son, Caleb, is autistic. It is part of who he is, but autism has never defined him. Caleb has taught me more about life in the last 8 years than I learned in 32 before that. He makes me better every day just trying to keep up with what a great kid he is.

The fantasy football Twitter landscape has changed quite a bit over the last few years…Hands down my favorite change is that when someone mentions kickers, someone else says, “Linda.” No last name. No handles. Just— Linda. Like Cher or Madonna. And everyone knows. It’s beautiful
I know it’s not feasible for everyone, but if you can get in a home league w/ in-person drafts, I highly recommend it. Our rookie draft is in 6hrs, & I’ve never been so excited in my life to get confirmation of a pizza order. Nothing better than in-person drafts!

When left to my own devices for weeks, it’s only natural that I devolve into writing Film Notes on the 2020 Rookie Class.
These are my thoughts, pre-combine, filtered through a lense of 1QB PPR fantasy football. The order is fungible & will change with more information.

Good news: You can get 10-12 running backs deep in the 2020 class without finding a dud.
Bad news: The number of places for them to land and make a fantasy impact is a lot less than 12.

You don't have to believe in Sony Michel. You don't have to draft Sony Michel. You don't even have to like Sony Michel. But please stop with the New England-running-backs-don't-produce narrative. Blount was ppr RB9 in 2016 & Lewis was RB15 last season. The points are there.
Like most people, I never thought much about Autism until it was staring me in the face (and smiling... and occasionally licking my head and running away laughing.) My son Caleb has taught me more in 5 years than I could ever hope to repay in a lifetime

A concern has emerged in recent days: There are certain coaches and front-office staffers reluctant to have their IT employees in their homes for fear of the virus spreading, and vice versa; some IT employees are concerned about going into other homes to equip them for the draft.

I’m going to start answering fantasy questions like it’s a presidential debate...
Would you start OBJ this week on the heels of last week’s breakout?
Well, thank you. Let me say this: Dak Prescott, a quarterback I talked about five years ago, is leading the NFL in yards...

A little over 5 years ago, we took our first trek to Disney… Caleb was barely 4, hated crowds, lights, & loud noises but loved Jessie from Toy Story. Since then, this magical little boy has taught me more about the world, about autism, & about bravery than anyone else ever could
Every day for 7 years, I’ve been a student. Caleb has taught me patience, joy, resiliency, how nuclear submarines work, understanding, flexibility, how to slow down, that tardigrades live on the moon, and to celebrate every single victory.
