A better way to implement this that's truley making illegal state unpresentable is using a NonEmptyList to represent authors. Or a low tech way to acheive the same is defining "Author firstAuthor" and "List<Author> restOfAuthors".
A guiding principle of data-oriented programming is to make illegal states unrepresentable. Take a deeper look in the fourth part in this series on DOP. https://t.co/nX0u2EcPR7

We have set up a new instance of #Scala Steward (using the original GH account) 🥳. It will go public in a few days. If you want it tested on your library sooner, just message @pikinier_vl or mail scala_steward@virtuslab.com

It has been almost 3 years at JustEat where learned being practical rather than FP purist while building streaming infra that I am proud of. I also got to innovate and make my crazy ideas a reality! I am forever grateful to my colleagues. Tomorrow I am off to a new adventure!

@NicolasRinaudo @noelwelsh You can have "half opaque" types by exposing either upper bound or lower bound. Upper bound allows compiler to automatically go from A to Id[A] without explicitly lifting, but not the other way around. While Lower bound has the opposite effect. https://t.co/Ylar6hIQnC
