b&r's politics and victories have played a significant role in building YDSA into the organization that it is today, and we are excited to continue growing YDSA’s size and power.

we led the charge on the npc to hire a second ydsa staffer. we moved votes to allow for an in-person ydsa conference in 2022 and fought to defend ydsa funding during the budget crisis, safeguarding stipends for ncc members that we fought to create in the 1st place.

also, b&r has run dozens for ncc since 2017 and has helped ydsa grow from 15 to 130 chapters from 2017 to 2020. we've championed the rank-and-file strategy, launched the red hot summer program, and have played significant roles in numerous student worker drives from kenyon to uo.

opposing long-term organizing and questioning the commitment of skilled socialist organizers to ydsa is a tiktok-consumed, instant gratification-brained take and should be disqualifying for any ncc candidate.

b&r is and has been committed to ydsa. we believe in mass organizing because we know that a vibrant socialist movement requires a militant student and workers' movement. creating a sea of class struggle for socialists to swim in is essential to forming new leaders and socialists.
