Whatever happens in August they will vote as an eight member MPC in Sept as Haskel’s replacement won’t be in place by then…so a hawk down…(and Bailey’s vote will have more weight).
@asentance Do you reckon that will happen? I think the temptation to give the pay data a further month to moderate (and headline effect from the July EPC cut) may be too much for the internals. I have been at August all year - but September seems more likely now.
