Thanks, @ScienceMagazine, for the highlight of our recent work! . In partnership with @gmboland, our team developed a microfluidic platform to monitor viral load over time in COVID19 patients. We were able to find intact🦠in blood, stool and saliva. @MGH_RI @MGHCancerCenter.
A microfluidic chip detects intact viral particles in the blood of #SARSCoV2 clinical samples. Identifying virus particles at low concentrations allows for monitoring of viral levels over time and for correlation with clinical outcomes. @ScienceAdvances

Excited to share this work, a reflection of many diverse fields coming together to see if we can find intact viral particles in complex bio fluids🩸💩💧. With a LOD of 3 #SARSCoV2 particles per ml, we were able to serially monitor viral load over time for patients. With @gmboland.

@druiztorres_ @FadenLab 3. We found dendritic cells treated with dual therapy (moto+niovo) to be uniquely activated when compared to nivolumab-only patients via scRNAseq. We confirmed this activation via high-plex imaging by finding enhanced spatial proximity between dendritic cells and T cells after tx.
