Recently have been trying to solve a problem and saw that even @fuma_nama's fumadocs also has a similar issue, when i click on a menu item that has to do two things . 1. Open itself .2. paint the right side of the screen (big paint generally). the opening animation will lag

Whats so bad about auto completing my work?. tbh, nothing, if you job is to just make something work and then do something else then heck yes auto complete that thing away. But the thing is i want to solve bigger and harder problems and i don't think i can do that by just auto.

When i feel like the work is getting too redundant or there is not much thinking involved in it rather it's just dog fooding stuff here and there i switch on copilot. Why do i do this?.I want friction, i want some kind of blocker that prevents me from auto completing my work.

I use Neovim atm (yes even at work, the key bindings and undotree is just too nice). When i open or reopen a file Copilot is off by default, i have a Key Binding (Ctrl + \) that toggles it on and off only for that file

This has changed recently, i have been writing an ungodly amount of code for the last 4 months, and some of it can be a bit redundant or there might be deadlines. So i started using AI in my IDE, i kinda have a diff. way of using it so though to make a mini thread . (below)
I use LLMs for hackthon and research a good chunk but when it comes to the actual act of writing code and building logic, i don't like LLMs in my IDE, this may change in future but for the time being my thoughts are something along this
